About the Role and What You Will Be Doing
· Leading a 2 man team in the installation of various models of Platform Lifts around the UK
· Fill out required paperwork on lift completion
· Communicate with scheduling team on jobs re' site information
· Any other adhoc duties required for the successful installation of lifts
What You Will Need to Succeed:
- NVQ 2 in Platform Lift Installation
- Previous experience on Aritco, Vimec or Motala products, desirable but not necessary, as full product training will be given
- The ability to work away from home during the week
- A valid UK driving licence
- Valid Blue(skilled) CSCS card or the qualifications to procure one
- SSSTS/SMSTS Desirable but not necessary
This role requires the ability to lift and carry items up to 25kg, stand for extended periods, and carry out tasks involving bending, stretching, and repetitive motion. Reasonable adjustments will be considered for candidates with disabilities in line with the Equality Act 2010.
Working hours: The hours of work are determined by the needs of the business, your ability and the Company’s requirement for you to carry out your duties to the required performance standard. In any event they will not be less than 37.5 hours in a 5-day period. Your core working hours however, would be 8.00 am to 16.30 pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break each day.
This job covers the whole of the UK dependant on where lifts need to be installed.
